This is not just another MGB. This is a carefully built Works-inspired rally specification example of one of Britain’s most iconic sports cars.
Delivered new in the United States in 1972, this MGB was restored in the late 1980s and imported to the Netherlands in 1991. In December 2016, an ambitious transformation began: a complete rebuild to WORKS rally specification, fully documented with extensive photos and invoices.
Finished in classic Tartan Red, fitted with a Sebring body kit, Minilite wheels and numerous technical upgrades, this MGB delivers both presence and performance.
The car was transformed with authentic Works styling, including:
Sebring kit front and rear (rear without lip, professionally painted during restoration)
15-inch Minilite wheels (2019)
Vredestein Sprint Classic 175/70R15 tyres
Original factory hardtop with ventilation flap
Vinyl soft top and matching tonneau cover (compatible with roll bar)
Additional driving lamps at the front and rear fog lamp
Tinted windscreen
US side markers, rear emblem and side chrome strips removed; holes professionally welded and finished
The result is a purposeful, competition-inspired stance that perfectly matches its mechanical upgrades.
Under the bonnet, this MGB is as impressive as it looks.
