GPCARS4SALE facilitates the buying and selling of race cars. If you’re willing to invest a bit more time and effort into selling your car, consignment sales are an excellent option.

With consignment sales, after a thorough technical and cosmetic inspection, you place your race car in our showroom, where we offer it for sale on your behalf. We handle marketing, negotiations, and the sales process while showcasing your race car to potential buyers in our showroom.

This allows you to command a higher selling price than with direct sales but do note that it may take longer to sell, and there’s a commission based on the selling price.

What do we do?

We act as intermediaries between buyers and sellers, much like a real estate agent does. With years of experience, an extensive network, and up-to-date knowledge about products, pricing, and the market, we offer our services. We operate on a no cure, no pay basis. The only costs you are responsible for at the outset are the expenses associated with preparing your car for sale and creating the advertisement, including professional photos.

The process

The process for selling a race car on commission involves several steps.

Initial phase

It all starts with a thorough valuation and pricing advice. Then, if desired, we can assist you in preparing your race car for sale. Next, we’ll create the advertisement, which includes drafting a detailed ad text, listing options, and arranging for a professional photoshoot. If desired, we can also create a video presentation.

Advertising

We advertise your race car on various international social media platforms and race car sales websites. Of course, we also notify our own network. Sometimes, the right buyer is closer than you think. We prefer to offer your race car exclusively to avoid confusion and increase the chances of a successful sale.

The sale

If there’s interest in your race car, we conduct a thorough client investigation. Then, we negotiate on your behalf. If an agreement is reached, our partner handles the administrative processing and delivery.

Transport

If necessary, we arrange transport for your race car using our enclosed trailer.

Ron Reinders founded the company out of his passion for motorsport and Grand Prix cars. With over 20 years of experience within the professional and international motorsport racing scene, Ron’s expertise is unparalleled. He is also the founder of Racetrailer.com, a company specializing in high-end race trailers, which he sold at the end of 2023. Ron established GP Cars 4 Sale driven by his love for (Formula 1) race cars, particularly Grand Prix cars. His motivation was never solely financial gain, but rather a genuine adoration for the sport.

Alex’s background lies in finance; he spends his days at a leading international M&A firm in the Netherlands, guiding buyers and sellers seeking to sell their companies or make acquisitions. However, beyond the realm of numbers and deals, he shares his father’s passion and love for motorsports, race cars, and sports cars.

Alex himself is an avid racer, actively participating in races on circuits, karting events, and sim racing. This hands-on experience further enriches his understanding of the industry. He joined the company as a co-owner several years ago.
